Dr. Shern serves as the Director and Principal Dentist of Serene Smile Dental Clinic, where he is renowned for his exceptional skills, meticulous attention to detail, and dedication to delivering outstanding dental care. A graduate of the University of Malaya with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) in 2019, Dr. Shern has developed a strong focus on aesthetic dentistry and dental implantology, blending artistry with science to achieve natural and harmonious results.
A registered practitioner with the Malaysia Dental Council and an active member of the Malaysia Dental Association, Dr. Shern is committed to advancing his expertise. He has completed the Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Postgraduate Basic Implantology Training Course at the University of Malaya in 2021, the Comprehensive Implantology Master Course in 2022, and numerous other implant-related courses covering guided bone regeneration, soft tissue management, and more.
Dr. Shern’s expertise encompasses minimally invasive implant procedures, including immediate implant placement after extraction, as well as complex cases involving multiple implants, bone grafting, and sinus lifting. Not only does he prioritize functional outcomes, but he also ensures maximum aesthetic results by focusing on both white (teeth) and pink (gums) aesthetics, achieving seamless integration and natural-looking smiles.
